This year sees the first Hesketh Colts Women's team enter the Liverpool and Youth Open Age Group league. The transition from under 18s football to open age will be a new challenge but one these ladies deserve and are looking forward to. We have also built on the younger squad by adding some open age players to both strengthen the numbers and the experience to play open age football. Hesketh Colts are very proud of this team, they are a talented bunch who have a great team spirit. They train hard every week and give all in their games, welcoming new players when they join. The current women's team are coached by Steven Carr and Hollie Dixon. A lot of these ladies have come from last years Colts Girls Under 16s Red team that was formed over 7 years ago, coached by Peter Heslip and Steven Carr. The group were originally put together by Alice and Dave Sumner which provided a great foundation from which the girls have remained teammates and friends ever since. The girls have enjoyed welcoming new players along the way, and new friendships have been formed, as they always look to build and develop. The reds have established themselves as an excellent footballing side, they always work hard and just love to play football at every opportunity.

Season 22/23 – Start of our new women's team with new players joining us to strengthen the team
Season 21/22 – Won the LCFA Sefton Winter Girls League unbeaten all season, quite an achievement for the girls.
Season 20/21 – Runners up in the very competitive LCFA She Inspires League, after winning the LCFA She Inspires tournament trophy.
Season 18/19 – Won the winter league at Hightown which was a great achievement for the girls
