It's been a great first year for the Hesketh Colts women's team. Finishing 2nd in the league and now into the playoffs for promotion. Plus a good cup run too! It's been quite a season –new league, new women's team and new home ground! As a newly established team the core of the team came from our under 18's team who have played together for several years. We then expanded the team and brought in players to help with experience and the right team spirit. The whole team has bonded well, lots of hard work at training, commitment to the games and fun sessions too!

We are now looking to recruit for the 23/24 season and build on a great foundation. If looking to join a new exciting team then get in touch now!

We are a newly established team within a well established club, looking to welcome new players into the team. As a club we are looking to build the team and strengthen to climb the leagues and provide a fantastic footballing opportunity for women in Southport and the surrounding areas. There are also other opportunities that we also support to help as many women into sport, football, refereeing, coaching and physiotherapy.
