The first player of the month winners were announced this morning for both Hesketh Colts u10 red and blue. We were lucky to have both winners together to take a photo. The player of the month for the boys is Reece Abram. Reece is developing into a quality defender with his fearless tackling and his awareness of danger improving. He is working on his decision making which gets better each game.

The player of the month for the girls is Ava Carragher. Ava is a delight to coach and has a great all round game. She must have the longest throw-in for a 9/10 year old I've seen. She is improving her kicking technique every training session and has already played in a few positions for the team. She can only improve week on week which I for one will enjoy seeing the progress.
